What are duplicate CSV rows?
Repeated exports, appended lists and copied spreadsheet rows can leave the same record in a file more than once. An exact duplicate repeats every cell value, not just a name or email address.
This CSV duplicate remover checks the complete row, groups identical copies and proposes keeping the first. It does not guess whether two different records describe the same person.

Exact duplicates vs matching records
00123,Alex,alex@example.com appearing twice is an exact duplicate. If the second row says ALEX, includes an extra space or has a different phone number, it stays separate.

Repeated rows can become repeated contacts, redundant activities or confusing customer records after import. Removing known exact copies makes a file easier to check, but it does not validate destination-system rules or guarantee a successful import.

CSV duplicates, explained.
What counts as a duplicate CSV row?
Two rows are exact duplicates when every parsed cell value is identical in the same column. Capitalization and surrounding spaces matter. Two contacts with the same email but different names are not exact duplicate rows.
Which copy is kept?
The first occurrence in the original data order is kept. Later identical rows are proposed for removal. Uncheck the keep-first option to retain all rows, and preview again before downloading.
Will my leading zeros or blank rows disappear?
Text identifiers such as 00123 stay as text values in the CSV. Blank rows are not cleaned automatically, but repeated identical blank rows follow the same duplicate rule. Spreadsheet software may interpret identifiers as numbers when opening a CSV; import those columns as text.
Can I match only on an email or ID column?
